I think the size of the signature is inversely proportional to the quality of the work. The bigger the signature, the suckier the painting is.

Funny. Remember Peter Max? His signature WAS the painting... the image seemed like an afterthought. But then he was blatant about it, so I guess he gets a pass for marketing savvy.
