This was taken last week when Bridie, Archer and I went to the beach. Archer had such a great time being 'in' the sand. I like this photo! I tweaked the colors so it sort of mimics the old early 80's yellow-tint aged 'process'. Not sure if it's working, but I do like the golden sun-glazed effect. And I've always liked this song: The Neverending Story by Limahl. Well it's a kids movie, so I thought it would be appropriate to pair it up with this photo! Okay, I adore the movie, too! I think I'll head back to the beach this week alone to get a Coppertone tan! woohoo!
I hope you're having a fantastic new week! Happy Monday everyone.

The synergy between the vintage tone and the contemporary everything else really works. As is usual with your stuff the formal aspect of the composition and the execution are striking. You've used the midday lighting to your advantage. Nice.

Wow, the photo does look old...I was just going to ask if it was done a long time ago and you found it in one of your memory boxes, until I read the entry.
